KODAK SoftWear Lenses are digitally-produced lenses specifically designed for use in an office-type environment, for viewing a computer screen plus a near zone correction for reading.
KODAK SoftWear Lenses are specifically designed for use in an office type environment. They devote a majority of the lens to intermediate and near viewing zones. This allows the eyes more area to view intermediate and up-close and less chance of having to tilt the head or neck to focus on office-oriented tasks.
The American Optometric Association recommends viewing a computer screen at a distance of 20 to 28 inches, so the distance for KODAK SoftWear Lenses has been set at 24 inches¹. KODAK SoftWear Lenses incorporate this measurement into providing the extra intermediate power required, therefore helping to alleviate digital eyestrain. With minimal distance vision, it is not recommended for driving or other far- viewing tasks.
