² Blue-violet light is between 400 and 455nm as stated by ISO TR20772-2018
Comparative tests between lenses with coating used by KODAK UVBlue (1.60 index) against KODAK Clean&CleAR (1.60 index), ratio is calculated between the average reduction rates of blue-violet light between 400-455nm of the target coatings, weighted by the danger of light on the cells of the outer layer of the retina (Arnault, Barrault, et al, PLOS ONE 2013). Blue-violet light is between 400-455nm as stated by ISO TR 20772:2018.

³Ultra violet protection: Test on lenses with coating used by KODAK UVBlue (1.56 index with UV420), with transmittance measurements done on 45 plano lenses, MR8 UV420 done on feasibility lenses. Results show 0.7% transmittance when tested with T 380-415nm, and 66% transmittance when tested with T 415-445nm. (A. Kudla, P. Lacan, 2018).

⁴ Comparative tests between lenses with anti-reflective coating used by KODAK City 1.56 FSV against KODAK 1.56 Clear FSV with standard HMC, with measurements done at 15 degrees with lenses representative of the production. Result shows up to 30% less reflection for night conditions, and 50% less reflection for day conditions for City lens versus standard AR lens, Essilor Quality Control 2018.
